The title track is another awesome tune, riding the Strangers riddim with Badda showing respect for the Israel vibrations roots anthem ‘Same Song’. ![]() It’s a joy to listen to Badda lick some serious lyrics over this riddim. 'Minibus', which has a wonderfully upbeat and lively vibe, is astonishing. Stand out tracks include 'Copper Shot', an anti gun tune which rides the absolutely wicked Murderers Riddim. The collaboration with Jah Roots works incredibly well and it has produced a slice of reggae genius. Backed by the hugely talented Jah Roots, Badda delivers nothing but positive and uplifting vibes throughout. In all honesty ‘Grass Roots’ is nothing short of incredible. During this time he compiled an arsenal of tunes, focusing on the conscious vibe, the best of which have made their way onto this debut release entitled ‘Grass Roots’. Since his introduction to the business Badda has worked with a variety of producers on a global level. The music has long been an influence in the life that would shape this performer. Born as Aaron Smith in 1981, Badda Skat did not reveal himself to the wider reggae public until the year 2000. ![]()
